Yesterday, we asked where all the independent Brooklyn retailers not listed on “Shop Brooklyn” were hiding. One possible place: Snowflake Sunday, this Sunday from 12pm – 6pm. Which, admittedly, as an shopping promotion makes for a snazzier sounding outing because alliteration. The Park Slope Chamber of Commerce is trying to encourage folks to shop on 7th Avenue, so they’ve rounded up some stores that will offer deals, including Galaxy Comics, which will offer 20 percent off all comic books. “No Man’s Land,” here we come! Lion in the Sun (232 7th Avenue):  10% postscript Brooklyn Holiday cards and free return addressing. Serving cookies and prosecco.

drawings every hour along with special sales!

Gear To Go Outfitters: (217 Garfield Place) 10% off for anyone who mentions Snowflake Sunday.

Cafe Grumpy: (383 7th Avenue) Offering select coffee sampler bags and mug and coffee combo gift sets at a discount. Giving out complimentary cookies & treats to pair with your coffee.
