Very soon (February to be exact so maybe not that soon), our long national nightmare will be over, and we’ll have more Broad City episodes. Until then, we don’t know, watch the shorts that are being slowly released before Season 3 starts. Or, you could get an up close and personal view of everyone’s favorite misadventuring Brooklyn girls by heading to Bed-Stuy on Monday, because the show will be filming at a food co-op in the neighborhood. NOTE: Do not actually try to get up close and personal, that’s creepy as fuck.
On Monday, October 5, Broad City will be shooting all day (7am to 9pm) at Bed-Stuy’s Greene Hill Food Co-op (18 Putnam Avenue). This adventure will involve Abbi working at a food co-op, though there’s no details beyond that. Is she doing it in penance for destroying Whole Foods? Trying to be fiscally responsible? Joining under the impression that hot dads shop at co-ops and this is her big chance to meet one? If we had to guess, we’d pick a combination of the last two guesses, but the only way to know for sure is to gawk at the film crew for 14 hours and try to decipher what’s going on that way.The ever-changing weather forecast is now that we’re in for pretty pleasant temperatures that day, perfect for standing around gawking at famous people and bored union guys in the crew. If you don’t want to do that, here’s the latest web short to tide you over:
