Though the ice melting on the sidewalk may suggest otherwise, we’re finally well past the middle of winter, and spring and summer will ONE DAY be here once again. But while you’ve spent the past few months shacking up with your winter’s bone drinking homemade hot toddies, warmer weather means beach trips, the backyard at Union Pool and a Beyonce concert.  Pricey! Luckily, Brooklyn’s got a few jobs available for you to help pad your bank account for the upcoming seasons of fun. Check them out below:

It’s hard to believe, but New York really is getting a bike-share program. You can be a part of it now that Citi Bike is hiring bike mechanics and bike checkers in Brooklyn.

Gilt Groupe is looking for an associate photographer with experience working in an e-commerce or luxury photo studio environment to shoot still-life and figure portraits of those fancy things they sell out of their Brooklyn Navy Yard warehouse.

Etsy’s DUMBO headquarters are looking for a part-time interior decorator to help their offices and conference rooms achieve that just-so combo of handmade quirky and business-casual. A few years experience working with commercial spaces recommended.

Kickstarter is looking for people to er, kickstart, their outreach efforts. You’d be responsible for helping to plan events and keep the people who are raising funds happy, so make sure you’re not a grump and you actually believe in the power of crowdfunding.

DUMBO-based digital ad agency Huge needs an experienced freelance illustrator to help storyboard pitches. Aside from the usual perks, they make cool bags for their employees so it’s worth checking out.

Hey, have you guys heard there’s a giant election happening this year in the city? Individual campaigns aren’t hiring yet, but why work for them when you can make sure they aren’t cheating? Be an auditor at the New York City Campaign Finance Board and make sure that candidates aren’t skirting fundraising rules. Who knows, maybe you noticing a reporting discrepancy can destroy someone’s entire campaign!

Or if your government heroes run more in the vein of Leslie Knope and there’s no place you love more than Long Meadow field, apply to be an administrative assistant at the Prospect Park Alliance. No experience necessary, and they’re offering a salary (with benefits!), though a driver’s license is required.
