María Fernanda Di Giacobbe, Venezuelan cook, entrepreneur, artist, and chocolatier, is the founder of La Paninoteka, Kakao Bombones Venezolanos, Río Cacao, and Cacao de Origen, a center for the study, research and preservation of Venezuelan cacao. She will tell us about Venezuelan cocoa, how chocolate is made, and her important work supporting the growth of Venezuelan Cocoa communities and empowering her fellow countrywomen to become “Chocolate Entrepreneurs.” We will taste her chocolates with a selection of wines and spirits.
