It’s gotta be the shoes: Nike pop-up shop hits Barclays

by -

In news that would excite Mars Blackmon, there’s a Nike pop-up shop that just landed in Brooklyn. In news that would disappoint Mars, it’s at the Barclays Center. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Air Force 1 (you’re getting old), Nike set up in front of Barclays to pay tribute to their iconic shoe and celebrate the launch of the possibly space-based update to it, the Lunar Force 1.

The store will be open daily from 12pm to 7pm until December 23, and will offer a range of Nike products, including Bespoke, an appointment-only program that lets you put your own spin n the Air Force 1s. In addition, the store is housed in the seizure-inducing contraption seen below, that if you’re wearing Nikes, the company will happily shepherd you in ahead of those suckers wears Vans, and take your picture in it.
