Subway debuts new subway themed sandwiches

The Grand Central, coming to a Subway near you

For a loathed and vaguely unsatisfying sandwich place that shares the name of a loathed and vaguely unsatisfying transit option, there’s been very little crossover between Subway and subways. Well finally some marketing genius managed to put two and two together and now we have Subway subway subs, named after, and taking after, their underground train namesakes.

Ah ha, just kidding! Still, this is a great video, especially since it takes shots at subway lines not usually targeted, like the J train (“Takes 40 minutes to make, up to an hour on weekends”) and the B train (“Not available on weekends”), and it also gets a little conceptual with the “Empty Train,” gag. Which, gross.
