Cozy up and celebrate this Fall season, Urban Frightfest style, with warm libations, food, live music, FREE fun activities, while discovering unique locally crafted items this Sunday (Oct. 30th) from 1-7pm at the Greenpoint Loft.
Wind down from the weekend’s Halloween festivities or warm up before Trick or Treating by hanging out in one of Greenpoint’s most beautiful historic spaces, restored to its pre-war glory. The Greenpoint Loft was once the home of America’s largest rope manufacturer and is now a private event space with views of the East River and Manhattan skyline that is open to the public during our markets!
Shake off the Fall chill with hot spiced rum cider, courtesy of Sailor Jerry’s and Crimson and Clove spices or Hungarian reds brought to you by Palinkerie. Thanks to Greenpoint Beer & Ale there will also be two refreshing choices of delicious craft beer: “Unwitting” Belgian Wit is an unintentional witbier, classically brewed with over 40 percent malted wheat, Belgian pilsner malt, coriander and grains of paradise. “Runner,” is a Historic London Porter utilizing English amber, brown and black malts along with smooth Golden Promise base and bready Pearl, with flavors of bittersweet chocolate, tobacco, dark fruit, a touch of coffee, a hint of roast and a light hopping of UK Fuggle.
Cafe Grumpy will be providing coffee and there will be an assortment of yummy savory and sweet treats by some talented chefs and local food establishments.
As always, we will have a number of FREE fun activities upstairs on the mezzanine!
Bring your Halloween best for our Urban Frightfest photo booth with photographer Ben Shirai and handmade backdrop inspired the poster designed by Deniz Ercelebi.
