‘It’s A Freelance Life’ captures the futility of freelancing, in song!

Yep

The remake of Annie is coming out soon, so that means the time is ripe for parody songs about it. Even if this video from Garlic Jackson Comedy “It’s A Freelance Life” didn’t perfectly capture the occasional futility of freelancing, we are nothing if not suckers for parody songs. Anyone who’s ever gone the freelance route will recognize at least part of themselves in the video, but for us, it’s the family member who tells you to just call Lorne Michaels with your idea. Or cold call the Times with your story idea, it’s a really big scoop, they’d love to hear it we bet.
