The Moon is hosting it’s 50th show at Royal Oak in Williamsburg. Hosted by Bob Walles and Nat Towsen, The Moon is a variety show that features live comedy, music, cartoons, and storytelling, featuring an array of guests called “Moonkids.” This week’s topic: The Superbowl. It starts at 8. Get on it.
In Bushwick tonight, Goodbye Blue Monday is hosting its Bushwick Book Club (discussing Madame Bovary) and Open Mic night. It’s a great dark cozy place, with a laid back vibe, that serves beer, wine, coffee, tea, and espresso to name a few. Starts at 8 pm.
Honorable Mention: Les Bicyclettes Blanches are playing tonight at Public Assembly in the front room, along with Matthew O’Niell and Anything MARIA. Les Bicyclettes are a fun mix of pop and electro, and will definitely make you forget about the weather outside.
