Eat a multi-course meal off naked people in Bushwick next weekend

If you’ve ever been eating a slice of sashimi from a plate and thought, “this would taste so much better balanced on a stranger’s nipple”, then do I have the event for you! The LUST Party is an immersive, erotically charged dinner party where food is served off naked bodies and eaten with wild abandon. It’s Brooklyn’s answer to a Roman Bacchanal and it is absolutely insane!

I attended my first LUST party, produced by Brooklyn based events producer and kinkster Abby Hertz, last year and what an evening it turned out to be. I won’t spoil too many of the surprises she has in store for you, but I will divulge that the evening ended with me naked in a hot tub with several other journalists being fed shrimp by some half naked men. Not a bad day at the office.

This year, the event will be taking place at Lot 45 in Bushwick on June 16th. The evening begins at 7:30pm with the feast. As you sip your complimentary champagne, feel free to waft around the banquet hall and sample some of the culinary delights created by chef Samia Behaya. Each body will be covered in a different course and you can either feed yourself or be fed by one of the servants in attendance. There are fruits, meats, fish and vegetarian options. Last year I spent quite a while eating fried quail off a man’s thigh and I can’t say I’m too sorry about it.

After dinner, the dining room will be transformed into an immersive theatrical space with plenty of dark deeds being done in dark corners. There will be interactive art installations, erotic performance art, secret fetish stations, dungeon and play area, cuddle puddle lounge, live musical acts, and a late-night steamy DJ session. The perfect first Tinder date…maybe?

This particular edition of LUST is all about luxuriating in the heat of summer. (Those of us without AC will know all about that.) Abby, the organizer told me: “As we reawaken from our slumber of winter and spring, we open ourselves to all the possibilities that the heart desires. Limbs intertwine, mouths open wide in pleasure, eye contact lingers. This is intimacy without fucking”.  Feeling a little hot and flustered? Me too. Oh, and if you are wondering what the above photo is all about: That is a shot of Abby’s famous ‘Pussy Painting’ performance that takes place later in the evening. “It’s kind of like potato printing, but with your vulva,” she explained. Now you know.
