Traveling between Queens and Brooklyn had never been this easy until car2go carsharing arrived.

Here’s how it works: You can pick up your car2go whenever you like, without prior planning, in Brooklyn and Queens. You can see the locations here. Take the car wherever you like, for as long as you like, and then simply return the car to the location from where you picked it up.

Here are some cool excursions that you can take and not worry about reading between the subway lines.

Louis Armstrong House
Louis Armstrong lived for many years in Corona, and the home remains much as it did during his lifetime. Guided tours are accompanied by audio clips from Armstrong’s homemade recordings—hear him blowing his horn, enjoying a meal, or talking with friends. Admission is $10 and there’s plenty of street parking available.

Rockaway Beach
If it’s good enough for The Ramones, it’s good enough for us. Beachgoers can soak up the sun, enjoy a variety of concessions, and then hit the City’s only legal surfing beach. Rockaway Beach is also home to a variety of playgrounds, barbecue areas, handball and basketball courts, fitness equipment and a skate park.

Queens Zoo
Pathways at this zoo in Corona lead you through wild habitats of the Great Plains, the rocky California coast, and a Northeast forest. Looking back at you will be American bison, mountain lions, California sea lions, American bald eagles, and a Roosevelt elk.

Fort Totten
This Bayside fort was built during the Civil War, and its ruins are now accessible to the public. But that’s not all: On hot summer days you can take a dip in the pool or soak up the sun around its grassy edges, or take a canoe and paddle out into the Long Island Sound. Urban Park Rangers lead regular tours of the fortress and the wildlife surrounding it.

Car2Go carsharing makes getting around your borough a breeze. Just reserve a car, drive as long as you need it, and return it to your Brooklyn or Queens home area – don’t bother searching for a spot.

Sign up now here and get free registration and a $10 drive time credit for your first trip using promo code QUEENS!
