Brooklyn Bookstore Crawl returns this weekend (4/28)

Books are some of the finest treasures. So, treat yourself to a self guided book crawl this Saturday with the Brooklyn Bookstore Crawl, featuring over 30 indie book stores.

Ranging from the tip-off Greenpoint to the southern end of Bay Ridge, you can explore local and independent book shops in all of their glory. Whether you fly solo or grab your nearest and dearest friends and companions, take your time and dive deep into Brooklyn’s literary scene. Plus, there will be prizes (valid social media accounts required) that include totes, books, limited edition swag, tarot decks, classes, and more. When you’re done, revel (and drink) at an exclusive after party at Friends and Lovers in Crown Heights. Don’t forget bring a receipt from an indie book retailer dated April 28 for entry.

There’s also just one itty bitty requirement: visit at least three bookstores on April 28 and your tour is complete.

What book stores are on the hot list? Check out a complete guide here. If you don’t know where to start, check out some of our local favorites such as Books are Magic, Catland, Berl’s Brooklyn Poetry Shop, and Quimby’s.

RSVP to the event on Facebook here. Happy reading!
