As we previously mentioned, arts non-profit Booklyn decided to take up the 24-hour Zine Challenge, which challenges a person to create an idea and physical copy of a 24-page zine in 24 hours. To put a twist on it though, they opened it up to anyone who wanted to collaborate on it, from zine newbies to veterans of the scene. In a feverish 24 hours, they managed to get their zine together. We spoke to Booklyn’s Ariana Misfelt, Maya Taylor and Aimee Lusty about what Booklyn is and how the zine making went.
