While we’re waiting for all the rest of the GoogaMooga details to be released, you should know that you can get up to $100 worth of free eats and drinks at GoogaMooga by volunteering for some rad gigs. Organizers are recruiting responsible and enthusiastic volunteers to work assignments ranging from pre-fest setup, to crowd control, to sanitizing headphones at the Silent Disco, to BIKE VALET! See the full list below, and make sure to apply by April 27.
Volunteers get General Admission entry to both days of the festival and a $50 voucher for concessions per shift (limited to two vouchers, but you can sign up for as many shifts as you want). There are two shifts per day: 10am-3pm and 3pm-8pm May 14-18 and 11am-4pm and 4pm-9pm on the days of the festival, Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20. Volunteers are required to arrive one hour prior to their assigned shift for training.
One caveat is that upon confirmation of a volunteer position and shift time(s), all volunteers will be required to pay a $50 refundable deposit via Paypal to deter last minute flake outs. Once shifts are completed, volunteers will immediately be refunded their deposit via Paypal.
If interested in volunteering, fill out this Google doc volunteer application by Friday, April 27.
