Has Groupon met its match? Effed In Park Slope reports a new kind of discount surfacing at Guvnor’s Vintage Thrift in Park Slope. Instead of receiving a fixed sale price (borrrring), sing your favorite tune and get between 10-25 percent off anything in the store. Discounts are based on a card drawn from a hat, and not on vocal styling ability so don’t hold back! If you’re still feeling skittish, the store has dual mics available for those more comfortable singing a duet. Discount Karaoke is available on Sundays between 4-7pm at Guvnor’s, 178 Fifth Ave.
