We’ll have some new tax pointers to share in coming weeks, but here’s a quick tip: instead of paying high fees to get your return, The Brooklyn Cooperative credit union is offering free tax prep through tax day for federal and state returns. The service is at two locations: Bushwick, 315 Grove St., and Bed-Stuy: 1424 Fulton St. (check the site for hours). Don’t forget to review our tax tips for procrastinators and to stay tuned for more tips this year!
