BAM’s Annual Brooklyn Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (NYC’s largest) features Danny Glover, screening of documentary “Soundtrack for a Revolution,” one of the best beatboxers in the world (!), performances, more. All free.

SUNDAY
3-5pm: WNYC’s Brian Lehrer and Celeste Headlee moderate a discussion on the impact of Martin Luther King, Jr’s life and legacy @ Brooklyn Mueum, free (rsvp)

10pm: Built By Meanred throws a warehouse party featuring ?estlove of The Roots on decks @ The Garage @ The Old American Can Factory, $12

MONDAY
Inaugural semester of Brooklyn Brainery‘s collaborative learning classes on subjects like “Scents + Sensibility” and “Meat!” $25

WEDNESDAY
6-8pm: Not For Tourists celebrate the release of their new Brooklyn guide with bash at Brooklyn Bowl featuring 2 hours of free bowling (shoe rental required, or bring your own). Free drinks and guides while supplies last.

THURSDAY
7:30pm: Bob Powers (“The Terrible, Horrible, Temp-To-Perm Debacle”), Jason Reich and Scott Jacobson (former writers for “The Daily Show”) host an evening of comedy with writers from “30 Rock” and “Best Day Ever.” Greenlight Bookstore, free.
