This weekend: Dreidel tourney, crafts galore, Sesame Xmas

SATURDAY
noon-6pm: 100+ crafters, artisans and culinary masters sell their gifty goods @ 3rd Ward’s Handmade Holiday Craft Fair. Free coffee, plus the first 300 people score a gift bag!

3:30pm: Catch the closing night indie film marathon of the Zero Film Festival at Invisible Dog Gallery: four hours of global shorts and then a Brit film showcase. $5

7pm: No gelt, no glory! Get your twirling fingers in shape for the 2009 Major League Spin The Dreidel Tournament at The Knitting Factory. $10

8pm: Celebrate Hanukkah burlesque style with The Schlep Sisters and Thirsty Girl Productions’ 3rd Annual Menorah Horah @ Southpaw. $12 advance ($16 day of show)

SUNDAY
11am-8pm: Recession Art’s Bull and Bear Market features affordable art and crafts, a rock band competition, cookie and gingerbread shantytown decorating, lots more.  Bonus: stock market representatives greet guests and make apologies! The Invisible Dog Gallery.

4:30pm: ‘Christmas Eve on Sesame Street’ plus excerpts of ‘Muppet Family Christmas’ + other Sesame holiday moments screen at BAM’s ‘A Special Sesame Street Christmas’ program. $7-11
