Thru Sun:
Do-si-do in Red Hook! Down home radio’s 2nd annual Brooklyn Folk Fest = Nawlins jazz, jug bands, blues, African and Mexican folk, workshops + a square dance. Jalopy, $15/evening, $40/series, $5/afternoons.

Thru Sun: The NYC Popfest takes over 5 venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Check out Brooklyn Vegan’s massive guide and 26 free mp3s. Free-$15/day.

SATURDAY
12-6pm:
Show off your wheels at City Reliquary’s 6th Annual Bike Fetish Day Block Party. BBQ, BMX tricks, vendors, music, prizes (best mutant bike!), more. Afterparty 6-10pm. For more two-wheelin’ action, head to Park Slope’s Old Stone House at 8pm for an outdoor screening of bike-related short films ($5 suggested donation).

2pm: Celebrate 3rd Ward’s 4th birthday with a BBQ, live music, arts + crafts, workshops, synchronized cycling, more!

SUNDAY
11am-5pm:
Score $10 clothing and shoes, $5 sunglasses, books, and toys, plus 25% off all full-priced items at the Fred Flare sample sale (Williamsburg).

11am-7pm: 50+ crafty vendors hawk handmade goods at the BUST Spring Craftacular. First 250 people snag a goodie bag! Warsaw, $2.

2pm: More crawfish in Brooklyn this weekend at Sycamore’s Crawfish Boil. For $15, get elbow-deep in a bucket of crawdaddies and a pint of Abita beer.

6:30pm: The Lost series finale party in the Bell House’s main room sold out ages ago, but you can still watch everything unfold for free in the front room with happy hour prices 5-7pm ($1 off everything, plus $5 sangria). Get there early!

ALL WEEKEND
Discover dozens of bands on diy labels + art galore at the third annual NY Ear + Ear Fest. Knitting Factory, $17/day, $30/2-day pass.

12-6pm: Beautiful (but pricey) Williamsburg shoppe Catbird throws a sidewalk sale featuring clothing, candles, more…most for under $20. Bonus: free handmade chocolate birds for every customer!
