Sweet job alert: Brooklyn Boulders needs someone to lift kids to new heights

They’re gonna be crawling all over you, but that’s OK, apply today! via Facebook

Do you hate your current job because there’s not enough rock climbing or children? That’s a very specific reason to be upset with your job! Still, in this instance, it’s paying off, because Brooklyn Boulders wants someone who loves kids and loves rock climbing to join their team on their belay staff. Are you ready for a life of getting kids excited about climbing on stuff?

As part of the Brooklyn Boulders belay staff, you’ll be responsible for things like customer intake, showing climbers to terrain that fits their skill level so they don’t quit because it’s too damn hard, getting people harnessed up and being an ambassador for BKBKids. That one sounds pretty important, because you’ll need to keep them engaged and also balance interacting with both kids and their lame-ass parents, but without mentioning to the parents that they’re lame because they’re olds. Think you can do that? Well then apply today, and be ready for a job where “hanging around” means “hanging from the ceiling at terrifying heights held up only by your skills with knot tying.”
