Sunday, peer at the petals of Ditmas Park

In a neighborhood of historic B&Bs, tree tours and some very colorful lawn art, you’d expect there to be a well-manicured garden or two to round-out the pretty picture. Well, it seems there are at least 10. This Sunday, Jul. 11, the Ditmas Park Association is sponsoring the neighborhood’s Garden View. Show up at 4, and you’ll spend an hour-and-a-half touring Ditmas Park’s (presumably) 10 best gardens, plus one more just nearby. And stay through the final garden for some food and drink. The tour begins at 544 E. 18th St., between Newkirk and Ditmas Aves. A small donation is requested.
