We will never argue with another place to get these. via Instagram

Like many Brooklynites, we love Pies ‘n’ Thighs, because who besides people who don’t eat meat or are trying to ward off a heart attack at 40 doesn’t love fried chicken? The only problem with Pies ‘n’ Thighs is that its tiny storefront means that any day you want to go eat there could turn into dealing with a mass of bodies all competing for a few tables and even the simple act of getting a chicken biscuit to go could bring on an anxiety attack. We’ve got great news for those of you who want to avoid the crush though: Threes Brewing, which we also love, is hosting a Pies ‘n’ Thighs pop-up in their kitchen now.

While you won’t be able to get Pies ‘n’ Thighs’ full menu (and there’s no pie) at the Threes pop-up, you’ll be able to get good stuff like mini-chicken bisuits, peel and eat shrimp, fried chicken and beer battered squash while the kitchen takeover is happening.

If you haven’t used your Beer Book coupon for Threes yet, we’d suggest you head down there some time before October 11, which is when Pies ‘n’ Thighs will be packing up their bag of chicken tricks and moving on. Even if you’ve used your coupon already, it never hurts to visit a bar again, especially one as committed to good beer as Threes Brewing is. Plus, they have a lot more room in which to order and sit down to eat, so that anxiety attack due to chicken biscuit cravings can be avoided for at least a couple of weeks.
