New affordable housing lottery opened up in Clinton Hill

Looking for a new, affordable space? In Clinton Hill? Act fast.

There’s a new housing lottery for 38 affordable units at 555 Waverly Ave in the nabe. By the corner of Atlantic Ave, the apartments are available in an eight-story building and applicants need to earn 60% of the median income.

The affordable housing units monthly rents include 11 studios for $735, 20 one-bedrooms for $741, and seven two-bedrooms for $888. The spaces are a small percentage of the building itself, there are 190 total apartments. Residents will also have amenities on-site, which encompass lounges, a gym, roof deck, parking, and bike storage.
