To celebrate the opening of their new Clinton Hill cafe on Friday, October 3, Brewklyn Grind (557 Myrtle Ave) will be sharing free coffee and an assortment of pastries (delivered fresh from Balthazar!) starting at 8:30am and running until 10am. If you miss the free festivities, a cup of drip coffee is only $2, so you’re not breaking the bank supporting a local business. One that presumably will talk less about the Illuminati and Jews than some other coffee shops.
While the cafe is already open, and rumored to have great latte art and a nice backyard, Friday morning will present an official ribbon cutting ceremony for Brewklyn’s first retail outlet marking a triumphant return from the devastation the company experienced during Superstorm Sandy (they roast their beans in Red Hook).
What a great way to celebrate October 3rd.
