Even still, coolness and community responsibility points are rewarded to those that support local bookstores over the Fox Bookstores of the world, and now here’s your chance to up the ante and work at one, as WORD is looking for someone to manage their inventory in both their Greenpoint and Jersey City stores.
WORD Bookstores, the impossibly awesome independent bookstore with outposts in Greenpoint & Jersey City, is looking for an Inventory Director/Backlist Buyer to start ASAP. The position is full-time and out of both locations, to throughly get the full WORD experience. All they ask is that you have previous bookstore experience, so dust off that resume from that one summer you worked at Barnes & Noble, but maybe replace their name with the name of an indie bookstore in your town if it has one.
