Nothing makes winter seem less awful than a whole bunch of cheap drink specials and boozy holidays. The folks over at Yelp seem to recognize that, and they’re giving us a little end-of-season gift. Starting next Monday, Yelp is offering a weeklong happy hour at highly-rated bars all over Brooklyn complete with half-priced beers, wines and specialty cocktails, so you and your buddies can spend Monday through Sunday blissfully floating through a hot toddy-induced haze while the rest of the snow melts. Hangovers ahoy!

Each of the 21 bars will offer three half-off specials from noon on February 18th through 11:30 p.m. on February 24th — sorry, late-night Sunday drinkers. All you have to do is download the Yelp app (if you don’t already have it) and check in when you arrive at a participating spot, then cash in on the deals: they include $4 hot spiced ciders at Pete’s Candy Store in Williamsburg, $6 Rusty Nails at Freddy’s Bar in South Slope, $5 Dark and Stormy’s at Gowanus’ Lavender Lake, $3 picklebacks at the One Stop Beer Shop and $7 Blue Steel martinis at Twenty3 Supper Club in Bay Ridge.

To add to all this booze-induced awesomeness, Freddy’s, Lavender Lake, The Sackett, Banter, Der Komissar and Boulevard all offer $1 coupons in our beloved Beer Books, so if you were savvy enough to buy one before they sold out, you can score a free beer along with your drink special. But please remember to be a human and tip your bartender well — just because the drinks are cheaper doesn’t mean the staff works any less, after all.
