Fancy yourself old-school? Online purchasing not your thing? Then come out to the Bean Post Pub Saturday night where we’ll be slinging Beer Book 7: South Brooklyn & the Rockaways from 8pm-11 pm. You can peruse the glossy little number, have a look-see at the physical vouchers for 28 beers at 28 bars for $28 before pulling the trigger—which we hope you’ll do, because at a $1 a beer we’re practically giving ’em away.

And you should come out and hang with us at Bean Post anyway, one of the featured bars in the new book, where there’s all the makings of a great Saturday night. Come early to catch the Rangers-Red Wings game at 7 pm on one of 16 HDTVs, stay for tunes by DJ Danny Dare beginning at 10pm (no cover). Throughout the night, enjoy an epic bar menu of appetizer sampler platters, “coasters” (sliders), burgers and over 40 varieties of wings (no joke). Beer-wise, choose from 21 draft lines featuring micros from the likes of Goose Island, Flying Dog and Great South Bay and over 50 bottled beers. We hope to see you there.
