Recently, we recommended Shipwrecked, Brooklyn’s first indoor mini-golf course, as a fun, air-conditioned diversion on a hot day. Since opening in Red Hook a couple months back, Shipwrecked has filled a huge hole in the summer fun market, since there isn’t much else in the way of mini-golf in Brooklyn. But now, a new course called Brooklyn Miniature Golf opened last week in Coney Island, according to Gothamist.

The 18-hole “no frills” course, located on Bowery St. and West 12th St., is a welcome addition to the Coney Island fun-zone of Luna Park, Eldorado Arcade (the site of Mr. Robot’s F Society headquarters), and of course the beach and boardwalk. (A previous iteration, located at 3049 Stillwell Ave, shuttered a while back.) Maybe hit up a quick game before the Action Bronson concert at Ford Amphitheatre this Sunday?

The low-key course, which includes a couple water traps and some tricky slopes, runs you $10 a game. It opens at noon daily, and it’s caddy-corner to a go-kart track, if you want to make it a doubleheader. We will definitely be adding it to our Coney Island itinerary.
