Get your free flu shot! Because winter is full of disease!

She’s really screaming because summer’s over. Via Flu Clinic Locator

It seems like it was only yesterday we were welcoming summer with open arms and celebrating its many wonders. But now it’s getting cold and wet and the talk has gone from summer flings to winter boyfriends. Also, the flu, because that’s still a thing. Thanks for nothing, medical science. In the absence of the ability to vaporize the flu like a Predator drone does so many unlucky goat herders, you can inoculate yourself against its evil with a free flu shot courtesy of SUNY Downstate at Long Island College Hospital. Details below.

Get your flu shots Oct. 15 and Oct. 16 between 10am and 1pm at Assemblywoman Joan Millman’s office, 341 Smith St., between Carroll and President Streets. Call (718)246-4889 to schedule an appointment.

UPDATE: Priority is being given to residents who live in neighborhoods in Assemblywoman Millman’s district. Those neighborhoods are Brooklyn Heights, downtown Brooklyn, DUMBO, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Columbia Street Waterfront, Gowanus, and Park Slope. If you live outside her district, you can be placed on a waiting list, or contact your City Councilmember, State Assemblymember or State Senator to find out if they’re offering flu shots.
