Fresh season, fresh ink, fresh you. In honor of the start of summer, Bushwick’s Friends NYC – vintage and “indie department store of dreams” – is hosting a storewide sale and tattoo pop-up in their 2,200 square-foot shop at 56 Bogart St. The event will be next Thursday, June 22, from 5 to 9pm. Flash sheet tattoos will be priced at $20 per with a $10 store purchase.

The event artists will be Bushwick-based St. Kenia and Joey Rosado of Greenpoint salon Evil and Love. In addition to discount merch and cheap tats, there will also be wine and beer from White Girl Rosé and Pabst Blue Ribbon. The sale specifics are that it’s 20 percent off all but sale items. The vibe is technicolor Millennial apathy as expressed through ironic tees, retro sweatshirt homages, velvet and aliens. We’re talking $39.99 heart hole bikini bottoms and $24.99 chokers.

Don’t forget to tip your tattooer!
