Even though there are lots of fun things to do this Memorial Day weekend, wouldn’t it be great to just chill out at home and grill in your own yard? In today’s apartment roundup we’ve got private gardens, yard access, roof decks and terraces for your weiner-roasting pleasure. Be aware that outdoor space is a premium, and these are by definition not the cheapest places in our fabulous Brooklyn apartment listings. First up is a 1BR in Windsor Terrace for $1700/month. You’ll share the yard with the other tenants, but with washer/dryer, dishwasher and central air, sunbathing with a top on is a small sacrifice.

• Spy on your neighbors and heckle street passersby from the private roof deck of this 2BR in Fort Greene for $2000/month. A little barren at the moment, but nothing potted plants can’t solve.

• At $2100 for this 1BR garden apartment in Park Slope, we’re sure this one will go fast. The tiles are a bit ’80s, but there’s also a vintage fireplace, washer/dryer, dishwasher, new stove and the kitchen looks huge. And how cool is that spiral staircase in the shared yard?!

• This sweet 2BR in Bed-Stuy for $2,000 is also a 2BA, so you can leave your hair in the drain all you want. Or hide it in the shared garden.

• At $2800/month this Boerum Hill 2BR is not exactly a brokester abode. But for the right collection of tenants (maybe a couple and a single?) the prime location and massive private yard is a rare find. And you can recoup your extra expense by charging entrance donation fees for the gigantic yard parties you’ll be throwing all summer.
