It can even get you a job at a fancier media outlet. Find out how to get involved!
Team Brokelyn is a collective of talented writers, reporters, interns and photographers all dedicated to one idea: your budget shouldn’t stop you from loving life in the best borough in the city. We have weekly editorial meetings (usually on Thursday mornings) where we gather to share story ideas and workshop future service journalism ideas. And we’ve all been known to drink together on occasion. No formal journalism experience is required; just some energy and curiosity.
Interested? E-mail us a little bit about yourself and some ideas of things you’d like to write for us to faye[at]brokelyn.com or tim[at]brokelyn.com. You might find your mug among this handsome collection of faces before long.
