Thanks to a tweet from the Bed-Stuy Blog we were alerted to a sale at the Hayden-Harnett boutique in Greenpoint, which sells smart basics with a quirky twist. We asked our fashion-editor friend Patty (holla Bed-Stuy!) for her pick of the sale items. Patty’s selection number one (left) is the Staci crossbody bag in painterly, regularly $178, now $142.40. Thursday morning update: prices seem to be fluctuating quite a bit. When we checked the site on Tuesday night, the bag was $89. Then it went up to $142.40 on Wednesday morning. Now it’s $89 again! Prices whatever, they are, good through tomorrow.
Patty’s pick number two: The Parker Canvas trench in Pebble (below). Normally $298, now $149. This is one slammin’ jacket for the money. Run, don’t walk. Only three two left. (Thursday morning update: all of a sudden, there are three trench coats left now, and they’re $119.20. Even better, but what’s happening at this place?)
Pick number three: the Mozambique garment bag in yellow flower (below). Normally $198, now $59.40. “I think I’m going to have to buy that,” Patty says. “The one I used now was a corporate gift from a million years ago.” (Thursday morning update: We’re still good on this one.)
