We hope everyone out there is familiar with The Road Warrior, because it seems like Brooklyn has suddenly slipped into it. We’re trying our damndest to find you guys some open gas stations, but the reports from Twitter…they ain’t pretty.
@brokelyn Hess on 4th Ave was open last night, and judging by all the honking we’re hearing, is still open.

@elizabethsaab @brokelynAs of yesterday, the BP at Flushing and Bushwick Ave had gas.

#shell @ 98 3rd ave in #BK has it. Only premium though. @brokelyn “Can anyone anywhere find an open gas station?” #sandy

Then again, maybe we should be looking at this another way.
The lines at the gas stations… the irony is too much. It’s time to deal with global warming and our addiction to fossil fuels. Wake up.

In the meantime, add any stations that are open and not being run by The Humungus to the comments section.

BP at Flushing and Bushwick is out (passed at 4am and there was a line of 30 cars in each direction. Now, just people buying beer).
Also out: Bushwick and Myrtle, Bushwick and Metropolitan…
End times may be near – until Saturday. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/11/02/new-york-fuel-runs-on-empty-in-hurricane-sandy-aftermath.html
