On this walking tour, attendees will “learn about the complexities of responsible urban and environmental transformation in NYC and how the Gowanus Canal Conservancy is helping the city and the neighborhood steward the creation of this next chapter.” And since the Gowanus Canal will be the focus of one of the largest environmental clean ups, now is your chance to get the scoop on the canal itself and how it’s planned to be one of the next great NYC parks.
The tour it free and will start on October 10 at 4 pm and end at 5:30 pm.
