3 awesome coffee shops in Williamsburg

Everyone needs a little pick-me-up, whether you love coffee or tea. For me, a damn fine cup of coffee is exactly what I need to start my day. Here are some of my Williamsburg faves.

Hungry Ghost
721 Metropolitan Ave

This is a beautifully decorated and spacious coffee shop that has enough seats and spaces to work and chat. Their coffee and tea selections are also numerous; there’s something for everyone.

Variety Coffee
368 Graham Ave

Variety is a neighborhood favorite that has delicious baked goods and vegan options (hello, pumpkin muffin) and tasty coffee that you can also buy in bulk. It doesn’t hurt that it’s right next to the subway, so it’s a great morning spot.

Lella Alimentari 
325 Manhattan Ave

This is a hidden gem that can get overlooked if you don’t venture far from your daily route. This mom and pop shop is a wonderful Italian coffee shop, brunch, and sandwich spot. The ingredients are always fresh. You don’t want to miss it.
