Everyone needs a little pick-me-up, whether you love coffee or tea. For me, a damn fine cup of coffee is exactly what I need to start my day. Here are some of my Greenpoint faves.
Sweet Leaf

This spot is rustic and spacious and perfect to work in and meet a friend. Their strawberry iced tea is my favorite iced tea ever.
Upright Coffee
860 Manhattan Ave #2
All I have to say: Lavender latte. That cup of joy is so good, and so worth it, you have to go back for more. It’s a small space, so sadly not a good spot for a coffee date, but it’s worth your patronage.
Crema
182 Driggs Ave
Crema is a small coffee shop at the border of Greenpoint and Williamsburg, and it’s a gorgeous little spot that you can sit in and have a conversation or do work quietly. Their coffee, as you would expect, is warm and creamy and all things delicious.
