You need to get out more. So why not go to a local gig this weekend? We rounded up some ace music shows for you to groove to, rock out, or swing to the beat at.

1. Desert Sharks, Nevva, Grace Vonderkuhn (DE), Sister Munch. A 420 rock n’ roll party with tacos and tiki drinks. Dance party at 11 pm. (Friday, El Cortez, FREE)

2. Justin Miller & Lovers. Sweet, essential, dreamy electronic beats. (Friday, Rose Gold, FREE before midnight/$10 after)

3. Madam West, Phat A$tronaut, Woolly Mammals. Cool grooves, lush lyrics, fuzzy sound waves. (Friday, Our Wicked Lady, $10)

4. 420 Benefit: Haram, Krimewatch, Blu Anxxiety, Flower. Hardcore punk meets mayhem. (Friday, Sunnyvale, $8-$10)

5. Lychi, Starving Arts, Sooner, Red Heads. Soak yourself in rock like a sponge. (Saturday, Muchmore’s, $8)

6. NY Nighttrain Soul Clap Dance-Off with Joe Bataan Orchestra. Two rooms of music and dancing until 4am. (Saturday, Elsewhere, $20/$10 after the bands)

7. Fit For An Autopsy, Yashira, Extinction AD, Wreath of Tongues. Metal forever. (Saturday, St. Vitus, $15)

8. Spanish Love Songs, Early Riser. Fierce punk for boxed wine lovers. (Saturday, Brooklyn Bazaar, $10)

9. Acid Mothers Temple, Yoo Doo Right, Evolfo. Psyche out. Get trippy. (Sunday, Knitting Factory, $15 advance/$18 day of show)

10. Adhoc presents: Snakeskin, Crazy Pills, Drug Pizza, Virginia and the Woolves. Major rock and roll vibes all night long. (Sunday, Alphaville, $10)
