    politicians are crooked because no one shows up at the polls to vote for the non-corrupt ones. we had plenty of great non-Vito Lopez backed candidates running in brooklyn. good job NYers for not showing up, and NY media for not covering the primaries to the point where people didn’t realize we had them.
