This restaurant special is worth passing on only because a $2 glass of wine is something we haven’t seen since living in South Carolina, where even tourist gouge-y places were cheaper than your average NYC dive bar. Reader Ahmed tells us one of his favorite Italian restaurants, La Villa Pizzeriain Park Slope, now offers $2 beers and $2 glasses of wine on Mondays and Tuesdays. And it looks like the brands are a step up from 3-buck-Chuck and the ole box too. Cheap wine, to get over those early workweek blues? Don’t mind if we do. Grazie Ahmed!
