Where to drink cheap while watching the Euro Cup in Brooklyn

Now through July 1: party like these guys. Photo courtesy of LA Times.

The 2012 Euro Cup kicked off yesterday and runs through July 1. That means almost a full month of socially-acceptable day-drinking, hooligan antics, affecting accents, making sweeping generalizations about the essence of entire nations, superficially rooting for the team with the cutest players and impressing your friends with your new knowledge of European microbrews. During the group stage, through June 19, games air at noon and 2:45 daily. No (day) job? No problem! We compiled a list of where to get deals while you watch.

Crown Victoria Bar
60 S. 2nd St. between Kent and Wythe
Crown Vic is offering their normal Happy Hour prices during the games ($4 drafts, well, wines) and with 24 craft beers to choose from. By next week, they should have a big screen up in the 10,000 sf backyard, so you and your friends will have plenty of room to mosh when Rooney gets violent. Next week, Crown Vic is planning to roll out lunch service, so you can nosh on fried pickles, burgers, and fish ‘n chips while you watch. For the Eurocup final on July 1, they’ll be roasting a pig out back!

Banter Bar
132 Havemeyer St. at Roebling
Buy a $64 drinking “passport” and save roughly $2 on all European beers during the tournament. Banter will be bringing in special European bottles, so ask to see if there’s a Czech or German brew you’ve never tried before. If you’re not committed to riding the drinking Eurorail, visit the Happy Hour specials, $3, $4 and $5 drafts.

Atlantic Chip Shop
129 Atlantic Ave. between Henry and Clinton
$4 Carlsberg drafts, All-day Happy Hour gets you 20% off your bill if you drink and eat at the bar.

Floyd
131 Atlantic Ave. between Henry and Clinton
At Floyd, order the Crap-a-Copia, six random cans for $15 bucks.

Woodwork
583 Vanderbilt Ave. at Dean
Prospect Heights soccer mainstay always has great specials: a selection of $3 bottle beers, $5 picklebacks, $6 shot-and-a-beer combos, and the $15 “Fuck-it-bucket,” six $3 cans for the price of five.

Black Horse Pub
Corner of 5th avenue & 16th st
South Park Slope sports bar sells $5 Stellas and $5 Carlings during the games.

Der Schwarze Kolner
710 Fulton St. at South Oxford
If you’re a fan of Germany, or want to fake if for the deals, watch them play at this beer garden across the street from BAM. For Germany’s first game tomorrow at 2:45 against Portugal, you get a dollar off all drafts after Germany scores their first goal. For Germany’s second game, on June 13, against the Netherlands, you get to keep the stein your Radeberger or Heffeweizen was served in! If Germany advances, who knows what the deal will be.

Black Swan
1048 Bedford St. between Clifton and Lafayette
Enjoy all day Happy Hour from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. ($4 drafts, well, and wine, $3 shots) and if you check in on Facebook or Twitter, you get a free giveaway, key chains, flip-flops and caps, sponsored by Radeberger.

200 Fifth Restaurant and Sports Bar
200 Fifth Ave., between Berkeley and Union
From noon-7 p.m., drink half off drafts, dollar off wells, and $8 house wine.
