Easy fundraiser: Eat food, help raise money to grow more food

Inside Bushwick Campus Farm. Via FB.

This may be, as its Facebook invite indicates, one of the easiest charity fundraisers of all time: Bushwick Campus Farm is sponsoring an Eat to Give on Oct. 4 where you raise money for local sustainable agriculture just for eating at some none-too-shabby restaurants in Bushwick, Crown Heights, Park Slope and elsewhere. The restaurants then donate a portion of the day’s take to the farm, which will use it to build some sustainable urban agriculture. The full list of participating restaurants is below: it includes Arancini Bros, Brooklyn Fire Proof, Lilly & Fig, Miriam and a bunch more. So you eat, and then the food grows, for a change.

Participating restaurants:

Arancini Bros – 940 Flushing Ave, Bushwick

Aperera Guacuco – 44 Irving Avenue, Bushwick

Breukelen Coffee House – 764 Franklin Ave, Crown Heights

Brooklyn Fire Proof East – 119 Ingraham St, E. Williamsburg

Café Ghia – 24 Irving Ave, Bushwick
