by | 6.25.12 | 1 Comment

Now you can shop for pants online while commuting! Via Improv Everywhere

If your commute involves traveling through the west side of Manhattan, you will finally be freed from being forced to read all those boring books and magazines on the train and just keep checking your Pinterest boards instead. Google Offers and Boingo — that network you always see pop up in airports — announced today they’re teaming up to offer free wifi in six stations starting today through Sept. 7. After that, they’ll start charging, but the goal is to add the service to 36 stations by the end of the year and to more than 270 stations. The list of the free ones you can use starting today is below.

  • A, C, E station at Eighth Avenue and West 14th Street
  • L station at Eighth Avenue and West 14th Street
  • C, E station at Eighth Avenue and West 23rd Street
  • 1, 2, 3 station at Seventh Avenue and West 14th Street
  • F, M station at Sixth Avenue and West 14th Street
  • L station at Sixth Avenue and West 14th Street
