What is it? A cozy corner gastro pub that acts as a café by day, a brunch spot on the weekends, and offers small plates at night.
Why we love it: It’s a versatile and creative space, where you can stop in anytime for a sandwich and a beer, or attend special event nights, like BYOV (Bring your own vinyl) Thursdays. Great people-watching through the big glass windows.
Who to bring: Your friend who likes to show off his sick record collection, a brunch buddy, a date who digs small plates.
What to order: Bar snacks, like the Whiskey sour/Dogfish Head hop pickles or Slant Shack beef jerky (each $5) or pickles ($2) to accompany one of the eight rotating craft drafts, (Kind Ryed IPA by Otter Creek Brewing, $6).
Fun fact: Owners Sara and Brad met working at the Mercury Lounge in 2002.—Kate Mooney
