Did you know that May is sample sale season? We didn’t either, but that’s probably because to us, even a sample sale means looking at all the Jeffrey Campbell shoes in a store window, going home and crying to ourselves over our bank statement. But if you haven’t already maxed out your credit card through 2014, you’re in luck: there are a whole bunch of sample sales hitting town over the next few weeks, and they are calling to you with a bevy of discounts and deals. Racked compiled a whole slew of sales, here are some of our favorites:
Tomorrow, Manolo Blahnik‘s doing a shoe sale on 65 W. 54th St in Manhattan, and Levi’s is offering deals on Made & Crafted and vintage clothing at 236 W. 27th St. And if you feel like dolling up your home in designer decor (and don’t want to leave Brooklyn), Jonathan Adler is having an up to 70% off sale on home decor at 513 Irving Ave in Bushwick.
On Friday, fancy swim shop Oyster NYC‘s doing a sample sale featuring up to 70% off bathing suits and other water gear, at 679 Classon Ave in Prospect Heights. The sales are taking a break over the weekend, but Monday brings the out the big guns when Christian Louboutin‘s crew offer major discounts on shoes at 306 W. 38th St in Manhattan. And on Tuesday, Theory is getting into the game, with three sample sales: 60 percent off at 75 Ninth Ave, markdowns on spring styles for women at 261 W. 36th St, and men’s discounts on 139 Fifth Ave in Manhattan.
If funky kitchenware’s your thing, on May 15 Broadway Panhandler‘s offering 80 percent off discounts on kitchenstuffs at 65 E. 8th St in Manhattan; that same day, The Reformation‘s doing a 70 percent off sale at 412 Broadway. On Thursday, The Limited‘s offering a sample sale at 400 Lafayette St in which everything is just $5. And on Wednesday, May 22, Araks is doing deals on lingerie at 137 Grand St. LET’S GET SHOPPING!
