Twitter was all a-titter this week with the news that sexy grown-up Miley Cyrus was preparing to shock us with a sexy entry in Bushwick’s NYC Porn Film Festival. It turns out that there are still some sex bridges too far for Miley to cross though, because word comes from the New York Post that Miley is pulling her film off the fest’s schedule and claiming her team was misled about the nature of the film festival she was getting involved with. Unethical behavior and pornography? Between this and Brian Williams, America has truly lost its innocence.
According to the Post, Cyrus’ reps disputed festival organizer Simon Leahy’s claim that she personally submitted the film, and also claimed that the way the festival was presented to the production company that owned the rights to the movie was a festival of “shorts screening at the artist ran space Secret Project Robot” and definitely made no mention of anything like a weekend-long pornography extravaganza. Team Cyrus asked for the film to be pulled off the schedule and Leahy agreed to do it, assuring the world he didn’t want to “cause any harm to Miley and her image.”
So, just like before the week started, the only pornography Miley Cyrus will be appearing in is in your disgusting, sweaty dreams about her, but at the moment her legal representation can’t do anything about that.
