That’s Briana Campbell, the tattoorific blogger behindĀ Unemployed Brooklyn, a diary of her take on the jobless, single life in Greenpoint, which she started after losing her job with a cosmetics company last November. (How can such a cutie be flying solo? Wethinks her TV debut is going to put an end to that.) NY1’s Brooklyn reporter Jeanine Ramirez does a great profile of Briana today, with a bit on Brokelyn as well. Thanks for the love, NY1! If you haven’t seen the video of us yakking, here’s a link. (And no, we can’t get Pat Kiernan’s autograph, so don’t ask.)

Aw! Thanks, Faye! You were great! xo
Trust funds are running out, time to return home.
Dear BackToTheMidWest,
If you are referring to me as someone with a trust fund, you are sorely mistaken. I’m a woman in my 30s who has worked (hard) since high school for everything I have and that I have achieved.
It saddens me that there are people out there so quick to pass judgment on those they don’t know at all.
Best of luck to you,
Briana
I am weirdly flattered that someone would even accuse me of having a trust fund.
Oh please, stop acting like this site isn’t the biggest piece of hipster garbage since pitchfork. All you white privileged kids need to get out of Brooklyn before it’s gentri…oh wait, too late.
Someone named Fixie called us hipsters! That’s a weird kind of compliment.
