You can be the most anti-consumerist or anti-Black Friday bro on the block, but you can’t avoid needing a phone. Consumerist reports you can get a non-iPhone spacephone (aka: Androaid) for $0.01, today through Cyber Monday (aka next Monday). You need to be a new customer, sign a two-year contract and probably some other contractual hocus pocus, so make sure to read the fine print. The deal is good for Veizon, T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint, and, Consumerist notes, even applies to the normally $799.99 Motorola DROID RAZR 4G. But there you go: a phone for a penny. Call your mother for me.

Remember folks, they reel you in with the penny phone then bury you with the $100 smartphone plan, with a 4G fee and 2GB required data plan that will then charge you through the nose when you inevitably go over due to your Facebook and twitter addiction.
