New Arts Residency: Tynan DeLong

February 20 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Free

In 2018, Tynan directed and edited over a dozen short films. With our New Arts Residency, he will present four new works from that period to the public for the first time. These pieces range from madcap juvenile comedy, to intensely personal character studies and are shot on a combination of Hi8, 16mm and digital. DeLong’s works have been celebrated by Vulture, Paste, Vice, and indie film hub No Budge, where he was named 2018’s Person of the Year. His films have also been featured all over New York, including the Nitehawk Film Festival, Syndicated Shorts Festival, and the Brooklyn Comedy Festival. The show promises to be a delightfully blunt and thoughtful journey through a wide range of moods and styles.
