“This is a walk from Brooklyn to Staten Island via Manhattan and New Jersey, covering four to five boroughs, three to six bridges, and at least two states, using only our own two feet for transportation.”
It supposedly starts at 7 a.m. at Grand Army Plaza and ends at 9 p.m. at the St. George Ferry Terminal in Staten Island (for those not calling it a night at the Holiday Inn Teaneck.) What to bring on such a trek? The Flashwalk site says “plenty of trail mix,” but we consulted long-distance walking Mark Moxon expert for a full packing list.
